Eating Right for Life

All diets fail!  We all have to face it... there is no safe, fast, no-side-effect pill or diet that will banish that extra body fat forever.  The truth of the matter is that the most effective and lasting way to lose weight and keep it off is a balanced, nutritious diet and regular exercise.

RESULTS' Eating Right for Life program was designed in response to comments we were hearing from our personal training clients about the challenges they face in their efforts to make the right nutrition choices.  It's not about diets that don't work, or a one-size-fits-all eating plan with strict rules, calorie counting and food scales.  It is about integrating a healthy eating plan with your lifestyle.

This unique 90 minute, one-on-one workshop includes:

Private consultation with nutrition & fitness experts:  
Clarify your nutrition goals and learn about the important connection between exercise and healthy eating. 

bulletAnalysis of your current eating habits:
You begin the program by completing a one-week Food Journal.  Our Food Technologist will review the Journal to identify your current eating habits.  Caloric and nutrient intake will be measured and compared to recommended levels for adults of your age range and activity levels.
bulletOne-on-one consultation:
The results of the Food Journal analysis are reviewed, along with recommendations for adjustments and changes.  Together we will identify external factors that may be standing in the way of you achieving your weight management and nutrition-related goals.  We will also provide you with information and tips to make healthy eating a regular part of your life, including strategies for navigating your way through your favorite restaurants' menus without blowing your eating plan.  Program participants receive a free copy of RESULTS "Dining Out Guidelines," a handy reference guide designed to help you make the right choices when eating out.
bulletIndividualized meal plans and suggested menus that YOU help create:
Together with the help of our Food Technologist, you will design an eating plan that incorporates your tastes and preferences.
bulletOptional ongoing consultations:
For clients who would like on-going support, periodic consultations are available to help you keep your meal plans fresh and your efforts on track.  We will even help you with your weekly shopping and offer recipes for light, healthy meals and snacks.
